Historic venues and stunning florals are a weakness of mine! There is something extremely special about The Livery in Lexington, Kentucky. This historical building was built in 1868 and was Lexington’s largest stables for horses and carriage rides throughout the town! In 2013, the building was turned into what is now a one-of-a-kind wedding venue. Exposed brick can be seen throughout the entire building, with some of the brink having been painted white over the years. Art work from local urban artists Allen and Evan of KRFT Goods can be seen displayed throughout the building and adds to the modern feel of the space.

This inspiration shoot brought together some of Lexington’s best vendors. The inspiration of the shoot was combining the natural southern charm, with an urban and organic feel. Gorgeous garland and smilax were used to drape the head table, with clean white linen lining the table and crystal wine glasses with pale blue candlesticks providing the perfect accents. We incorporated some vintage pieces, like the chairs & cake table, from a local favorite B&B Vintage Rentals, with the wedding cake being created by Batter & Buttercream. I definitely hope to photograph full weddings in this gorgeous space in the future!

We are so excited to have had the lovely shoot featured over on Style Me Pretty as well!
