Lindsey + Josh | Farmington Historic Plantation Engagement | Kentucky and Destination Film Wedding Photographer

Lindsey was not anticipating a visit from her boyfriend while she was visiting her parents in Florida earlier this year. Little did she know, Josh had planned to fly to Florida to surprise Lindsey and ask her to be his forever! He even videoed his journey to Florida and the engagement (SO sweet)!

I so excited to share with you some of my favorite images from Lindsey and Josh’s engagement session! This couple is SO in love! Their session was so much fun and the location was absolutely beautiful!

Farmington Historic Plantation in Louisville, Kentucky is a dream. Driving down the long, tree filled road to the plantation made be feel as if I was entering a southern plantation. As you pull into the plantation, you are welcomed by a gorgeous house with trees and fields! The stone buildings on the property lined with mossy rooftops made me feel like I was in a fairytale!

As we walked around the plantation, it was extremely hot, but Lindsey and Josh were champs! I think my favorite part of their session is when they sat down in the garden for a picnic with bottle wine and yummy bread! So elegant and charming!

As the sun started to set, we got some golden light glow as Lindsey and Josh snuggled up together and even got adventurous and laid in the grass 🙂 I cannot say enough amazing things about this sweet couple! Their February wedding in Louisville, KY is going to be magical <3

P.S…isn’t Lindsey’s floral dress from Dress and Dwell amazing?!
